September Update, Collective Haul, Future Purchases and Tags

Hello -ber months. Can't believe it's September already. Time seems to just whiz by. Why am I blogging? I've missed it terribly. I still have work left but tonight I've made a decision brought about by some good thinking but first a look at how I am right now.

SAD. Haha. If you'd take a look at my eyes, you'd see that they look horrid. Why? I slept at 5 freaking AM. I woke at 10:30 feeling "refreshed" but srsly, that was a sad move in the name of work.

It's been hard, stressful and quite tiring. Today I've decided that I'll let go of work 'til sembreak. I'll just finish my assignment now and get back on track when I don't have so much to worry about anymore.

As much as having money would be great health and happiness are my picks right now.

So let's have a recap of how things have been!

Mara has been heavily enjoying Lucky Charms cereal at random breakfast times and even after dinner :p

There's also been more free stuff at CBTL. This is their new Honeydew iced cream drink thing. I like their idea of giving things free not just to freeload (:p we buy things there, thankyouverymuch xD) but because as a customer, if I read Honeydew for a flavor in a coffee shop I'd be like "BLECH" but when I tasted it, me and my family agreed that it was crazy good :D

Collective haul time.

Got s'more polishes. Ugh. I really have it bad for Bobbie polishes because of the price and formula. Right now it's my favorite brand. As for the Chic polishes, they're good too. I find some run a little thin but it's all good. Lovin' the glittery thing too. I'll let ya'll know the names when I use them :)

Seeing this wrapping paper = happiness to me.

Fun fact: I still have the wrapping paper from the first thing I've ever bought from MdE in my room. Yes, I am weird. No, I am not crazy (well I am but... not in that way :p)

Secure and all as always. Didn't really expect to get a free sample of a product since I didn't get anything from Sephora but I was pleasantly surprised to find one in my package! Thanks Sue! I'm saving this for a special occasion :D

Worn. Because I'm a little butterball I find it's better to wear it on my outermost digits. Just you wait when I slim down... I love wearing it on my left hand and it actually feels like it belongs there o_O Weird, but yes. I've always been a little iffy of buying rings, especially online but you gotta admit, this one's a real keeper. I swear I love it. Can't stop wearing it! I swear I got home, took my package, snapped pics, wore it and went to the kitchen in my jammies to eat quick cook pancit canton :)) Oh the lavish life :p

Speaking of MdE, MdE turned a year old! YEP! Happy birthday! :D And because of that, they have a little promo up.

It was actually through MdE that I found out that the Kat Von D palettes are on sale. From $34 they're $10 off! And at MdE, they go for around the price of a MAC quad here in the Philippines. Come on, you have to admit that's a steal. So I took advantage of that and decided it'd be a great Christmas gift for my mom!

She's expressed wanting over my Beethoven palette and when I looked at the palettes, this seemed to fit her best because it had the best mix of all the colors.

And you know what? Because of the sale, I felt compelled to get something for me too.

The Memento Mori palette. YES. YES!!! Ever since I've gotten my Beethoven palette, I've been quite interested for more Kat Von D. The problem? I'm not so into the other colors as much... 'til this came out. I've been drooling over this for a while but of course, I was trying to be smart with spending money, etc. I think this going on sale justifies buying it now rather than another time. I'm also quite paranoid that since they're all labelled "limited edition," they might all go at one point or another. I was originally eyeing the UD Naked Palette but since that's permanent, I can get it at another time.

As for the whole cam thing, because I'm giving up on working for a while I'm not sure how that'll work out. What's important now is my health and happiness :p My priority is really Christmas gifts at the moment, giving rather than receiving, so yay for that.

Though there was some real crap along the way, I don't want to change anything because I don't want to be in a whole different place than I am right now. Sure I regret a bunch of things, but at the end of the day, I feel so blessed with everything God has given me.
