The Joys of Being Appreciated + NOTD upgrade?

No this isn't a sponsored post by Cadbury.

It's nothing like that at all.

Right now I should be either studying or working but I'm just so stressed, so tired. I'm sick, sniffly, yes, it's annoying, so let's make it quick.

Before anything else though, I don't wanna be all up in being "oh I'm so great, blah" I just wanna say what happened, how things turned out and how happy it's made me.

Over a week ago, my classmate Jill asked if I had a scanner so I could send her a copy of the waiver for fieldwork.

I said yes

only to find that my aunt's/uncle's PC was down.

So I went to a nearby pc shop, had it scanned, sent it to her and scribbled a little note apologizing for it taking so long and explaining why.

A few days later she emailed back saying thanks, etc.

More days after that she said she was surprised when she got to read the whole email and was quite thankful for my efforts to go out and everything for her.

I'd always reply either "you're welcome" or "it's nothing"

Last week too she kept thanking me just because I shouldered her jeep fare when she didn't have change.

Same reply.

I really didn't think much of any of those things because after all, she was a really nice girl, very polite.

Today she surprised me when she came over to my seat handing me that chocolate bar.

Now I've never gotten chocolate from anyone before (yeah, not even guys, don't ask :p) and I don't know... I felt fuzzy and she was like "oh and the fare.." I told her I won't take it and I just thanked her for the chocolate.

I couldn't stop thinking about it after.

I never really expected anything but here it is. Sweet.

I'm almost scared to eat it :))

I prolly will when Mik comes along :p

Anyway, today I tried switching my top coat because I found my plain nails boring.

Thought I'd share the results :)

I seriously hate how I suck at photographing this. Lol.

Anyway it's absolutely beautiful. Prolly even prettier matte than it was with regular top coat. It looks like a suede polish now. Ugh. It's gorgeous, posh looking, maybe even fierce? :p

It still hasn't lost its different angle = different color effect. A dark murky off black/gray color with the view of light that's barely green, the purple tone, etc.

BEAUTIFULLLLL.

Haha.
