Hello, lovelies. I feel bad. Whenever I plan entries, they don't happen. I'm supposed to be doing reviews but when was the last time I did? Uhhhhh...

Oh that note, I think I should do a better scoring system/means of putting the reviews out there to make it simpler. Like:

In other news. Yay! Long weekend for me!

Lately, I've really been diggin' taking pics to show how life's been. Idk, I guess it's the ol' "a picture's worth a thousand words" thing really eating into me right now. So let's get on with it!

Thursday

Actually, I didn't enjoy this one as much as I wanted. It wasn't the best I've had. It didn't cling to the cone properly. Guess had a lot more ice than it should've. PS, to non-Filipinos reading this, dirty ice cream isn't really dirty. Well, idk... But it's good!!! Street food :3

Fellow fair-goers. Yeah, there was some sort of "fair" going on but srsly, "fair" to us usually just means there are random food stalls about XD Saaaaad.

Siomai with rice. FOR ONLY 35php!!! Yeah. 4 siomai, tons of rice, for just 35php. I can't believe it! It was yummy buuuuuut didn't get to finish it :| Mai and I already ate our packed lunch, actually, then we went to the fair and yeaaaaaah... eheh :3 Karla ate the rest of mine XD

We were having sensory perceptual testing that day for adult population, skills practice. This is a caliper that we use for 2-pt. discrimination :D Okay enough geek talk :| :))

Friday

I had the day off. And supposedly I should have worked but due to drama I ended up doing other things to offset my wanting to cry like a freaking baby

Thanks to Miki I finally got an emulator on my Mac! He always seems to help me find the solutions to things :) I'm not as gifted with problem solving as he is :P He's amazing. Anyway... Freaking heck. It's been hard not having games on my system and because of him, I get intense pleasure from reliving my glory days (ugh I feel so old). PS, if you're on a Mac and have a better emulator system, tell me :D And tell me any games you'd recommend!

At some point, I just wanted to leave the house even though I didn't have to be at my mum's office 'til a little later. I was early there, of course and because I couldn't work there (don't ask, complications of my job :p) I just watched a movie

I'm not really one to watch parody movies. I don't like them much because most of the time, the humor is poor. However, with this? I was drawn to the trailers out and I can say I'm quite game for a whole bashing of the Twilight series. Did I like it? Yes, actually. Wasn't so bad. The ending made me go "meh" but overall it's not like your average parody flick that would make me roll my eyes out its socket and all that.

After a while, I tried (tried) working despite the complications until my mum's meeting ended.

And you know what?

I was reminded of why I love her job at times.

Her officemate gave me a stash of magazines! I find it cute that it's really for me and not my mum :)) They're all new and everything and I find it amazing that she thinks of me when it comes to these types of things :)

I think I got like 11 :)) I'll read them when I'm free from work :) So excited! Can't wait to get inspiration for looks!

So after that, we got my brother and went on for dinner.. but the traffic was bad :| Poor mum, had to bear with this all night.

But we got to chow eventually!

Saturday

Brunch before grocery shopping. I got the garlic shrimp pizza. I wish they had half slices =\ I was too full when I finished mine.

My skin stuff. YAY! Finally! Ya'll prolly know how much I LOVE Dove soap. It's the only thing that feels moisturizing enough to my skin. I tried Olay ultra moisturizing the past week because I ran out of Dove and it was the only thing at home buuuuut, Dove still pwns all. And yes, that is a 14-bar pack xD (1,704.95php x.x = roughly 77php per bar, score!)

As for the other things, I got the new and intriguing Pond's Pure White Deep Cleansing Facial Foam that boasts of Activated Carbon + Vitamin B3 (149.95php), the Olay Regenerist Micro-sculpting Cream (1,122.95php but SRP is 1,299php from what I've read on google), and the Olay Regenerist Eye Lifting Serum (849.95php).

Thoughts? Well you know I love Dove. As for Pond's, I've had bad experience with it in the past but I'm willing to try again :p I hear that your face would feel quite dry after washing but if it's cleaning me well and I have a moisturizer after anyway, then it's no problem. As long as it doesn't get in my freaking eyes like all their other products ._. With the Microsculpting cream, I'm going to see if there are any dramatic results, but I think I'd end up switching to the Olay Total Effects cream when I'm out of this just because my skin's such a good trooper :D Last but not the least, the serum. I might maintain this if it does good. I really picked a serum over a cream just because I wanted something strong at repairing.

Can't wait to see how those work! I'm just waiting for my Philosophy Hope in a Jar to kick the bucket and I'll be on a new skincare regimen :D
